In the course of providing you with services I will collect and process information that is commonly known as personal data. What is personal data?

Personal data includes your name, email address, contact details, age, date of birth and any health or other information that comes up in the course of our work together.

Collection of personal data

Personal data will be kept on paper file only. No digital copies are kept.

The only personal data that is kept electronically will be your name and email address.

How we use personal data

Your contact personal data is used for communication purposes with regards to appointments, marketing offers or promotional events that I am undertaking. There is a section on the Confidential Client Questionnaire that you complete on your first visit to indicate whether and how you would like to be contacted. Your contact details will NOT be shared with any third party.

Your doctor and next of kin details are in case of an emergency while you are at my premises.

Your personal data with regards to health and other personal issues will only be used to aid our individual Health Kinesiology sessions together.

How we protect your personal data

Personal data that is kept on paper file is stored in a locked and fireproof cabinet.

Any email or other electronic correspondence between us that contains more specific information will be printed out, put on file and then deleted from the electronic source.

How long do we keep your personal information?

In line with my insurance policy, I keep client records for 7 years after the final session, or 7 years after a minor reaches the age of 18. After this the records are shredded.

Your rights

In exercising your Individual Rights, you should understand that in some situations we may be unable to fully meet your request. For example, if you make a request for us to delete all your personal data, we may be required to retain some data for legal purposes as advised by our insurance cover.

You should understand that when exercising your rights, a substantial public or vital interest may take precedence over any request you make. In addition, where these interests apply, we are required by law to grant access to this data for law enforcement, legal and/or health related matters.


For the purposes of meeting the Data Protection Act 2018 territorial scope requirements, the United Kingdom is the named territory where the processing of personal data takes place.

Any dispute or claim arising out of this Privacy Policy and the use of your personal information will be governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any such dispute or claim.
